Non-Executive Director Roles / Management Consultancy

Falcon Corporate Advisory also provides management consultancy and support roles, utilising our extensive knowledge and experience to supplement the existing Senior Management Teams and Board of Directors on commercial and strategic issues that can often be overlooked.

NED roles may include one day a month for attendance of Board Meetings, as well as ad hoc advisory assistance on issues that may arise during the course of business, and providing an additional third party voice on relevant matters that lend itself to the experience of the Falcon Corporate Advisory team.

Our management consultancy roles includes supporting:

  • Existing finance functions, including monthly management account preparation and setting up KPI reporting to supplement appropriate monthly management information packs to be presented to the Board.
  • Short term or longer term project related engagements.
  • Preparation of integrated and / or cash flow forecast models.
  • Independent advice on a business’ commercial strategy and growth plans.
  • Contractual matters.
  • Business setup.
  • Negotiations with stakeholders such as lenders and creditors.

Post Transaction Integration with Equity Investors

It is often the case that businesses that have recently completed an M&A transaction, such as equity investment or fundraising to support a strategic objective (such as growth and / or expansion), struggle to adapt to the new working relationship with these new stakeholders.  This may not be as a result of a broken business relationship, but simply a lack of understanding or knowledge of what these new stakeholders require (each of which can differ vastly depending on their own culture and processes).

Here at Falcon Corporate Advisory, we liaise with both the management teams within the business and any equity investor / debt funder (many of whom we are inherently familiar with) to assist with matters such as the preparation of information packs for board meetings, appropriate monitoring metrics to assess business performance and identify areas of risk or weakness and facilitating the nurturing of a longer term working relationship

Through our roles within business restructuring and corporate finance, we are able to identify key areas of risk and mitigating actions that can be actioned and implemented to ensure the business is able to maximise performance output and deliver targeted trading performance.
